At Porto Alegre, Brazil:


Andre Lima (43') and Humberlito Borges Teixeira (PK-55') provided the scoring as Gremio blanked visiting Leon de Huanuco 2-0.


Group Four:


At Buenos Aires, Argentina:


Lucas Pratto (1', 89') scored twice and Francisco Pizarro (90') scored the winning goal as Universidad Catolica erased a 3-1 deficit and knocked off Velez Sarsfield 4-3 on the road.


At Caracas, Venezuela:


Edgar Jimenez (PK-40') and Nelson Barahona (54') provided the scoring as Caracas FC blanked visiting Union Espanola 2-0.
