Copa Libertadores: Junior, Penarol, Caracas FC, Estudiantes Rack Up Wins

Four more games took place in the group stage of the Copa Libertadores on Wednesday.


Group Two:


At Santa Cruz, Bolivia:


Victor Cortes (27') and Luis Paez (46') provided the scoring that enabled Junior Barranquilla to hold off Oriente Petrolero 2-1 on the road.

Luis Cabezas scored twice (46', 50') as Caracas FC knocked off Universidad Catolica 3-1 on the road.


Group Seven:


At Asuncion, Paraguay:


Estudiantes, thanks to goals from Pablo Barrientos (51') and Leandro Gonzalez (53'), came from behind to defeat Club Guarani 2-1 on the road.

Luis Aguiar scored the lone goal of the match at 57 minutes as Penarol picked up the only Wednesday night home win, 1-0 over LDU Quito.
