UCL: On To The Quarterfinals For Chelsea and Real Madrid

The UEFA Champions League's Round of 16 concluded as two two-game series came to a close on Wednesday.


At London:



A 0-0 game-two home draw for Chelsea was enough as the Blues closed out FC Copenhagen 2-0 on aggregate. In the above photo, Lions' goalkeeper Johan Wiland stops Nicolas Anelka's shot


At Madrid:





Real Madrid blasted visiting Lyon 3-0 in game two, enabling them to finish off their French opponents 4-1 on aggregate and reach the quarterfinal round for the first time since 2004.  Marcelo (37', pictured here), Karim Benzema (66'), and Angel Di Maria (76') each delivered a goal for Los Galacticos.
