MLS: Saturday Wins For Sounders, SKC, Impact, Fire, Hoops; Rapids and Goats Draw

Six games were played in Major League Soccer on Saturday.

At Seattle:

Fredy Montero (64') and Eddie Johnson (87') provided the scoring as the Seattle Sounders blanked the visiting Vancouver Whitecaps 2-0 in a Cascadia Cup clash.


At Toronto:

Kei Kamara scored the only goal of the match in the 82nd minute as Eastern Conference-leading Sporting Kansas City blanked Toronto FC 1-0 on the road.

At Montreal:

Marco Di Vaio (24'), Lamar Neagle (60'), and Patrice Bernier (PK-72') each scored a goal as the ten-man Montreal Impact knocked off the visiting nine-man San Jose Earthquakes 3-1.

At Bridgeview, Illinois:

Sherjill MacDonald scored the winning goal in the 25th minute as the Chicago Fire topped the visiting New England Revolution 2-1.

At Commerce City, Colorado:

Juan Pablo Angel's 82nd-minute equalizer lifted Chivas USA to a 1-1 road draw with the Colorado Rapids.  Brian Mullan scored for the hosts in the 19th minute.

At Sandy, Utah:

David Ferreira scored the winning goal in second-half stoppage time (90'+4) as FC Dallas knocked off Real Salt Lake 2-1 on the road.
