Carli Lloyd scored twice (8', 54') as the United States defeated Japan 2-1 on Thursday to win the Olympic women's soccer gold medal at Wembley Stadium, enabling the Americans to avenge their 2011 World Cup championship match penalty-kick shootout defeat at the hands of the Japanese. That's Carli, along with happy teammates, celebrating her first tally, one of four she scored in the Olympic tournament. It was the Americans' fourth gold medal in women's soccer.
