Europa League: The Road To Turin Begins; Rough Tuesday For Clubs From Tallinn

Four games were played on Tuesday as the opening qualifying round for the 2013-14 Europa League began.

At Skopje, Macedonia:

Reynaldo dos Santos Silva provided the only goal of the match in the 64th minute as Qarabag took the opening match of their two-game series with FK Metalurg Skopje 1-0 on the road.

At Ta' Qali, Malta:

Nildo scored in the 14th minute to carry Khazar Lankaran from Azerbaijan to a series opening 1-1 road draw with Sliema Wanderers.  Stanley Ohawuchi scored for the Maltese club in the 62nd minute.

At Tallinn, Estonia:

Aleksandr Dubokin (PK-43'), Mikael Dahlberg (57'), and Fakta Jonas Lantto (90'+3) delivered the scoring as Gefle IF will return to Sweden after dominting their series opener on the road with FC Narva Trans 3-0.

At Rhyl, Wales:

Ian Sheridan's fourth-minute tally stood up as Bala Town defeated visiting FC Levadia Tallin 1-0 in game one of their two-match series.
