Saer Sene (18') and Dimitry Imbongo (78') each provided a goal for the New England Revolution as they blanked the visiting San Jose Earthquakes 2-0.
At Houston:
Ricardo Clark scored the only goal of the match in the 59th minute as the Houston Dynamo defeated the visiting Philadelphia Union 1-0.
At Vancouver, British Columbia:
Goals from Kenny Miller (4') and Darren Mattocks (79') carried the Vancouver Whitecaps, helped by key saves by goalkeeper Brad Knighton, to their first-ever MLS-era Cascadia Cup win, 2-0 over the visiting Seattle Sounders.
