At Carson, California:
Erick Torres scored the winning goal in the 79th minute as Chivas USA, despite playing with ten men, knocked off visiting Toronto FC 1-0. The victory was the Goats' first in MLS action since March 30 as their 14-match winless streak ended.
At Commerce City, Colorado:
A defensive blunder by Jose Goncalves Goncalo Santos in the 67th minute resulted in the game-winning goal for the Colorado Rapids
as they defeated the visiting New England Revolution 2-1.
