Carlos Vinicius Alves came through in the 90th minute on Friday as his goal propelled AS Monaco to a 1-0 French Ligue 1 road win over LOSC Lille Metropole.
The Mastiffs currently sit second in the league standings, seven points ahead of third-place Lyon while Monaco, for the time being, climbed up to 16th place, two spots and nine points above the relegation zone.
