In the opener, Abbu Zahid scored twice (18', 90'+4) as Ba FC demolished visiting Kiwi 5-1 to lock up a berth in the quarterfinal round.
In the nightcap, Jack-Henry Sinclair scored twice (56', 71') as Team Wellington dominated Erakor Golden Star 3-0 and knock the host club from the tournament due to inferior goal differential vis a viv Ba FC.
