MLS: Sunday Wins For DC, Galaxy

Two games were on the Major League Soccer schedule for Sunday.

At Orlando, Florida:

Steven Birnbaum (6') and Wayne Rooney (30') delivered the goals as DC United defeated Orlando City 2-1 on the road.

At Carson, California:

Zlatan Ibrahimovic converted a pair of penalty kicks (33', 65') as the Los Angeles Galaxy held off the visiting Portland Timbers 2-1.
