AFC Champions League

AFC Champions League group-stage play continued on Tuesday with eight games.

GROUP C:

At Doha, Qatar:

Mehdi Benatia (56'), Youssef El-Arabi (73'), and Ali Hassan Afif (90'+1) each scored once as Al-Duhail dominated visiting Esteghlal 3-0.

At Al Ain, United Arab Emirates:

Al-Ain, with goals from Omar Al Somah (PK-32', 76'), blanked visiting Al-Sadd 2-0.

Group C Standings:

1. Al-Duhail (GP: 1; GD: +3; PTS: 3)
2. Al-Ain (GP: 1; GD: +2; PTS: 3)

GROUP D:

At Tehran, Iran:

Mario Budimir's equalizer in the 25th minute carried Persepolis to a 1-1 home draw with Pakhtakor.

Marat Bikmaev scored for the Uzbek club in the fifth minute.

At Jeddah, Saudi Arabia:

Omar Al Somah converted his penalty kick in the 32nd minute for the game's lone goal as Al-Ahli defeated visiting Al-Sadd 1-0.

2. Pakhtakor (GP: 1; GD: 0; PTS: 1)
3. Persepolis (GP: 1; GD: 0; PTS: 1)

At Kashima, Japan:

Serginho scored the winning goal in the 56th minute as Kashima Antlers defeated visiting Johor Darul Ta'zim from Malaysia 2-1.

At Changwon, South Korea:

Graziano Pelle scored twice (21', 77') as Shandong Luneng gained a 2-2 road draw with Gyeongnam FC.

Woo Joo-sung (60') and Kim Seung-jun (68') each scored once for the hosts.

Group E Standings:

1. Kashima Antlers (GP: 1; GD: +1; PTS: 3)
2. Shandong Luneng (GP: 1; GD: 0; PTS: 1)
3. Gyeongnam FC (GP: 1; GD: 0; PTS: 1)
4. Johor Darul Ta'zim (GP: 1; GD: -1; PTS: 0)

NOTE:  Shandong Luneng scored twice on the road in their Tuesday 2-2 draw with Gyeongnam FC.



GROUP F:

At Melbourne, Australia:

Hwang Soon-min scored the game winner in the 51st minute as Daegu FC knocked off the Melbourne Victory 3-1 on the road.

At Guangzhou, China:

Anderson Talisca (19') and Paulinho (26') provided the scoring in the first half-hour as Guangzhou Evergrande blanked visiting Sanfrecce Hiroshima 2-0.

Group F Standings:
