Europa League

Group-stage play in the Europa League reached the midway point on Thursday with 24 games.

Group A:

At Swansea, Wales:

Djibril Cisse's stoppage-time penalty kick (90'+3) lifted Kuban Krasnodar to a 1-1 road draw with Swansea City.  Michu scored for the Swans in the 68th minute.

At Valencia, Spain:

Federico Cartabia scored twice (21', 30') in the first half hour as Valencia drubbed visiting St. Gallen 5-1.

Dinamo Zagreb and visiting PSV Eindhoven, in a match played behind closed doors, battled to a 0-0 deadlock.

Matic Crnic (21'), Ales Mertelj (34'), and Dejan Mezga (49') provided the scoring as ten-man NK Maribor knocked off SV Zulte Waregem 3-1 on the road.

Seba's equalizer in the 53rd minute carried Estoril to a 1-1 road draw with SC Freiburg.  Vladimir Darida scored in the 11th minute for the hosts.
