Jeff Larentowicz (24'), Bakary Soumare (26'), and Quincy Amarikwa (89') each scored a goal as the Chicago Fire dominated newly-crowned US Open Cup winners DC United 3-0 on the road as the hosts reverted to their season-long rotten in-league form as they have now gone winless in nine MLS contests.
At Houston:
Ricardo Clark's goal in the sixth minute held up as the Houston Dynamo blanked the visiting---and struggling---Montreal Impact 1-0.
