CAF Champions League Qualifying

The opening weekend of the first qualifying round of CAF Champions League qualifying concluded on Sunday with eight games.

At Berekum, Ghana:

Berekum Chelsea had to settle for a 1-1 match-one home draw with Al-Ahly Benghazi. 

At Aba, Nigeria:

AS Real Bamako knocked off Enyimba 2-1 on the road in the opening match of the clubs' two-game series.

At Douala, Cameroon:

TP Mazembe gained a series-opening 1-1 road draw with Les Astres.

At Monrovia, Liberia:

Barrack Young Controllers battled visiting Sewe Sport to a match-one 3-3 deadlock.

At Addis Ababa, Ethiopia:

CS Sfaxien took the opening match of their two-game series with Dedebit FC 2-1 on the road.

At Conakry, Guinea:

Horoya AC gained the advantage in their series with Raja Casablanca after blanking the visiting Moroccan club 1-0.

At Setif, Algeria:

ES Setif all but assured themselves of advancing to the second qualifying round following their series-opening 5-0 annihilation of visiting ASFA Yennenga.

At Dolisie, Republic of the Congo:

AC Leopards dominated visiting Primeiro do Agosto 4-1 in match one of their two-game series with the Angolan club.
