MLS: Philly, TFC, Dynamo Grab Saturday Wins; Red Bulls and Rapids Battle To Draw; SKC And Hoops Too; Two Late Goals Gain Home Draw For Quakes

Six games were contested in Major League Soccer on Saturday.

At Harrison, New Jersey:

Vicente Sanchez delivered the equalizer with his penalty kick in the 72nd minute as the Colorado Rapids Gained a 1-1 road draw with the New York Red Bulls.  Thierry Henry scored for the hosts in the 57th minute.

At Chester, Pennsylvania:

Sebastien Le Toux delivered the only goal of the match in the 31st minute as the Philadelphia Union blanked the visiting New England Revolution 1-0.

At Seattle:

Jermaine Defoe scored twice in the first half (17', 24') as Toronto FC knocked off the Seattle Sounders 2-1 on the road despite Clint Dempsey's tally in the 68th minute.

At Houston:

Will Bruin scored the only goal in the 40th minute of the Houston Dynamo's 1-0 home win over the Montreal Impact.

At Kansas City, Kansas:

Matt Hedges' 90th-minute equalizer lifted FC Dallas to a 1-1 road draw with Sporting Kansas City.  Aurelien Collin scored for the defending MLS Cup champs in the 82nd minute.

At Santa Clara, California:

Victor Bernardez scored twice late in the second half (75', 90'+5) as the San Jose Earthquakes battled back from a two-goal deficit to gain a 3-3 home draw with Real Salt Lake.  Chris Wondolowski scored in the sixth minute for the Quakes while Kyle Beckerman (11'), Joao Plata (32'), and Luke Mulholland (45'+1) provided the scoring for RSL.
