CAF Champions League

Eight games were played on Sunday as the first round of CAF Champions League qualifying continued.

At Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo:

At 1-0 game-two home win over Dynamos FC also proved to be a 1-0 series aggregate victory for AS Vita Club.

At Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of the Congo:

A 3-0 home win over Les Astres of Cameroon in the second match of their series was good enough for TP Mazembe as the Congolese club took the series 4-1 on aggregate.

At Garoua, Cameroon:

Coton Sport overturned their series-opening road defeat big time by demolishing visiting Flambeau de I'est 5-0 in game two and won their series 5-1 on aggregate.

At Tunis, Tunisia:

CS Sfaxien defeated visiting Dedebit FC 2-0 in game two and ousted the Ethiopian club 4-1 on aggregate.

At Abidjan, Ivory Coast:

Sewe Sport defeated visiting Barrack Young Controllers 1-0 in game two and won their two-match series with the Liberian club 4-3 on aggregate.

At Omdurman, Sudan:

Al-Hilal Omdurman won both game two and their two-match series on aggregate against visiting Stade Malien 2-0.

At Alexandria, Egypt:

After taking game two of their two-match series with Young Africans 1-0 at home and deadlocking their series 1-1 on aggregate, defending champions Al-Ahly of Egypt won the penalty-kick shootout 4-3 and advanced to the second qualifying round.

At Tunis, Tunisia:

In a match played in Tunisia due to security concerns in neighboring Libya, Al-Ahly Benghasi blanked Ghana's Berekum Chelsea 2-0 in game two of their two-match series, which they won 3-1 on aggregate.
