AFC Champions League

Action in the AFC Champions League's group stage continued on Wednesday with eight games.

GROUP C:

At Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates:

Bakhtiar Rahmani scored the only goal of the match in the 31st minute as Tractor Sazi defeated hosts Al-Jazira 1-0.

At Riyadh, Saudi Arabia:

Khalid Kaabi scored twice in the final half-four (61', 78') as Al-Hilal dominated visiting Pakhtakor Tashkent 4-1.

Maksud Karimov scored the winning goal in the 60th minute as Nasaf Qarshi defeated visiting Al-Ahli Saudi FC 2-1.

At Doha, Qatar:

Yasser Aboubaker Essa scored the winning goal in the 79th minute as El Jaish held off UAE's Al-Ain 2-1.

NOTE:  Al-Ahli Saudi defeated visitng Nasaf Qarshi 2-1 at home on February 24.

At Osaka, Japan:

Yasuhito Endo's equalizer in the 57th minute enabled Gamba Osaka to salvage a 1-1 home draw with the Melbourne Victory.  Nick Ansell scored for the Australian club in the third round.

At Shanghai, China:

Wu Lei scored the winning goal in the 52nd minute as Shanghai SIPG held off visiting Suwon Samsung Bluewings 2-1.

At Sydney, Australia:

Milos Dimitrijevic scored the winning goal in the 89th minute as Sydney FC defeated visiting Guangzhou Evergrande 2-1.

At Pohang, South Korea:

Son Jun-ho scored the only goal of the match in the 19th minute by successfully converting his penalty kick as Pohang Steelers defeated visiting Urawa Red Diamonds 1-0.
