CAF Champions League

The first round of the CAF Champions League continued with seven games played on Sunday.

At Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo:

AS Vita Club defeated visiting Ferroviario Maputo 1-0 in the opening game of their two-match series.

At Warri, Nigeria:

Sudan's Al-Merrikh Omdurman knocked off hosts Warri Wolves 1-0 in the opening contest of their two-game series.

At Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo:

Algeria's ES Setif gained a series-opening 1-1 road draw with Etoile du Congo.

At Bahir Dar, Ethiopia:

Defending champs TP Mazembe from the DRC gained a series-opening 2-2 draw on the road with Saint George SC.

At Aba, Nigeria:

Enyimba International FC demolished visiting Vital'O of Burundi 5-1 in their series opener.

At Agadir, Morocco:

Mamadou Sidibe's equalizer in the 63rd minute enabled Olympique Khouribga to salvage a series-opening 1-1 home draw with Etoile du Sahel.  Rami Bedoui scored for the Tunisian club in the 34th minute.

At Douala, Cameroon:

Mohamed Koffi scored the only goal of Zamalek's series-opening 1-0 road win over Union Douala in the 58th minute.
