CAF CL: We Have Our Semifinalists

Match Day #5 in CAF Champions League group stage play concluded with two games on Sunday.

Group A:

At Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of the Congo:

Dioko Kaluyituka (59') and Given Singuluma (62') each scored a goal three minutes apart as TP Mazembe clinched a berth in the semifinal round with a 2-1 home win over Dynamos, eliminating the Zimbabwean club (as well as ES Setif) from the tournament in the process.

At Cairo, Egypt:

Ahmed Fahty (20') and Mohamed Fadl (48') each delivered a goal as Ah-Ahly locked up second place and a semifinal berth with a 2-1 home win over Heartland FC, knocking both the Nigerian club and fellow Egyptian club Ismaily out of the tournament.
