CONCACAF CL: Cruz Azul, RSL, Toluca Win

Three more games were played on Wednesday as Match Day #3 in CONCACAF Champions League group stage play continued.

Group A:

At La Chorrera, Panama:

Javier Orozco's first-half hat trick (10', 22', 27) and Emanuel Villa's second-half double (67', 80') enabled Cruz Azul to annihilate Arabe Unido 6-0 on the road.

At Sandy, Utah:

Kyle Beckerman (20'), Jamison Olave (39'), Alvaro Saborio (PK-69'), and Paulo Araujo, Jr. (80') each scored a goal as Real Salt Lake easily overcame an early deficit and ended up dominating ten-man visiting Toronto FC 4-1 in a contest between two MLS clubs.  TFC played their first game for new interim coach Nick Dasovic.

At Toluca, Mexico:


Osvaldo Gonzalez (18'), Juan Cuevas (PK-76'), and Emmanuel Cerda (90'+3) provided the goalpower the propelled Toluca to a 3-0 home beatdown of the Puerto Rico Islanders.
