MLS: Wins For Red Bulls, DCU, Philly, Galaxy; Goose Eggs For Hoops and Quakes

Five Major League Soccer matches were contested on Saturday.

At Harrison, New Jersey:

Thierry Henry (16'), Tim Ream (32'), and Dane Richards (58') each tallied once as the New York Red Bulls defeated the visiting Colorado Rapids 3-1.

At Toronto:

Julius James scored the only goal of the match in the 81st minute as DC United defeated Toronto FC 1-0 on the road.

At Chester, Pennsylvania:

Sebastien Le Toux scored the only goal of the match at 36 minutes as the Philadelphia Union blanked the visiting Chicago Fire 1-0, stretching Chicago's winless streak to five games.

At Santa Clara, California:

FC Dallas ran their unbeaten streak to 14 games as they battled the home standing San Jose Earthquakes to a 0-0 deadlock.  Hoops goalkeeper Kevin Hartman notched his ninth shutout of the season.

At Carson, California:

Edson Buddle (12'), Dema Kovalenko (34'), and Jovan Kirovski (54') each scored once as the Los Angeles Galaxy defeated the visiting Columbus Crew 3-1.  David Beckham played for 20 minutes in his season debut for the Galaxy, his first action since March 14 when, while playing on loan for AC Milan, he tore his left Achilles tendon.
