In the one Thursday Major League Soccer contest the New York Red Bulls and FC Dallas battled to a 2-2 stalemate, stretching the home standing Hoops' franchise-record unbeaten streak to fifteen. Milton Rodriguez (23') and Eric Alexander (68') scored for Dallas while Mehdi Ballouchy, obtained this week in a trade from Colorado, scored for the Red Bulls at 45 minutes and FC Dallas defender Jair Benitez scored an own goal at 82 minutes to give New York a share of the points.
