Match Day #2 of UEFA Champions League group stage play commenced on Tuesday with eight games, two of which were played in Group E.
At Basel, Switzerland:
Bastian Schweinsteiger scored twice in the second half (PK-56', 89', that's him celebrating after scoring that last goal) as Bayern Munich, coming off a home weekend Bundesliga defeat at the hands of Mainz, bounced back with a come-from-behind 2-1 win on the road over FC Basel.
At Rome:
Philippe Mexes (69', that's him celebrating) and Marco Borriello (71') provided the scoring as AS Roma held off visiting CFR Cluj 2-1.

1. Bayern Munich (GP: 2; GD: +3; PTS: 6)
2. AS Roma (GP: 2; GD: -1; PTS: 3)
3. CFR Cluj (GP: 2; GD: 0; PTS: 3)

NOTE: AS Roma has the first tiebreaker on CFR Cluj, having amassed three points to nil after their win on Tuesday over the Romanian club.
