Mauro Manotas scored the only goal of the lone Monday US Open Cup tournament contest in the 47th minute as the Houston Dynamo defeated visiting Minnesota United 1-0 in a Round of 16 match.
Next month, the Dynamo will host Sporting Kansas City in the quarterfinal round.
