In Friday's opening contest of the US Open Cup tournament's Round of 16, Sebastian Blanco's goal in the 30th minute carried the Portland Timbers to a 1-0 home win over the Los Angeles Galaxy.
The Timbers' unbeaten run in all competitions has now run to ten games.
Portland will pay a visit on the winner of next Wednesday's Los Angeles FC-Sacrament Republic (USL) match on Wednesday, July 18 in the quarterfinal round.
