Haris Medunjanin (52') and Cory Burke (61') each scored a second-half goal as the Philadelphia Union held off the visiting New York Red Bulls 2-1.
At Kansas City, Kansas:
Daniel Salloi scored twice (43', 66') and Yohan Croizet once (89') as Sporting Kansas City defeated visiting FC Dallas 3-2.
