Europa League: Chelsea, Benfica Punch Tickets For Amsterdam

Two games were played on Thursday as the Europa League's semifinal round came to a conclusion.

At Lisbon, Portugal:

Oscar Cardozo scored twice (35', 66') as SL Benfica downed visiting Fenerbahce 3-1 in game two, overturning their 1-0 road defeat from last week en route to a 3-2 aggregate two-game series win and a berth in the final.

At London:

Fernando Torres (50'), Victor Moses (52'), and David Luiz (59') each scored a goal during a ten-minute stretch of the second half as Chelsea defeated visiting FC Basel 3-1 in the second game of their two-match series and ousted the Swiss club 5-2 on aggregate.

Chelsea will take on SL Benfica in the Europa League final that will take place at the Amsterdam ArenA in the Netherlands on Wednesday, May 15.
