EXILES END 25-YEAR EXILE FROM FOOTBALL LEAGUE

At London:

Christian Jolley (86') and Aaron O'Connor (90'+4) each scored a goal in the final minutes of Sunday's English Conference National promotion playoff final at Wembley Stadium as Newport County blanked Wrexham 2-0 in a match-up of two Welsh teams.  The Exiles won promotion to League Two for next season, marking their return to England's Football League after a 25-years absence.

Mansfield Town, who won the division's regular-season title, sealed automatic promotion to League Two and are returning to the Football League after being absent for five years.

Meanwhile, Stockport County, Barrow, Ebbsfleet United, and AFC Telford United were relegated to Conference's North and South divisions.
