MLS: Six-Game Saturday: Red Bulls, Philly, Hoops, Impact, Fire Gather Saturday Wins

Six Major League Soccer games were played on Saturday.

At Harrison, New Jersey:

Bradley Wright-Phillips scored twice (4', 12') as the New York Red Bulls throttled the visiting New England Revolution 4-1.

At Chester, Pennsylvania:

Vincent Nogeuira scored twice (71', 82') and Andrew Wenger once (69') as the Philadelphia Union put on a late scoring barrage to manhandle the visiting Portland Timbers 3-0 for their first-ever victory in six tries against them. Crisitan Maidana assisted on all three goals.

At Orlando, Florida:

Mauro Diaz (PK-45'+1) and David Texeira (64') each scored a goal as  FC Dallas blanked Orlando City 2-0 on the road.

At Montreal:

Dominic Oduro scored twice (5', 80') as the Montreal Impact dominated the visiting Columbus Crew 3-0.

At Bridgeview, Illinois:

Jason Johnson scored the winning goal in the third minute of second-half stoppage time as the Chicago Fire knocked off the visiting Seattle Sounders 1-0 for their first victory in ten tries against the club from the Emerald City.

At Commerce City, Colorado:

Drew Moor (81'), Jared Watts (90'+1), and Juan Ramirez (90'+7) each scored a goal in the waning minutes as the Colorado Rapids knocked off visiting Real Salt Lake 3-1.
