MLS: David Villa Leads Way For NYCFC Against Lions; DCU Erase Two-Goal Deficit, Top Philly; Caps Top Quakes

Three games were contested in Major League Schedule on Sunday.

At New York:

David Villa (45', 67') scored twice as New York City defeated visiting Orlando City 5-3. Cyle Larin produced a hat trick (50', 61', 85') for the Lions.

At Washington:

Alvaro Saborino (37'), Nick DeLeon (66'), and Fabian Castillo (87') each produced a goal as DC United overcame a two-goal deficit and upended the visiting Philadelphia Union 3-2.

At Vancouver, British Columbia:

Mauro Rosales (5'), Kendall Watson (32'), and Octavio Rivero (PK-56') each scored a goal as the Vancouver Whitecaps downed the visiting San Jose Earthquakes 3-1.
