FIFA Confederations Cup: Late Goal Gains 2-2 Draw For El Tri Against Portugual; Chile Blanks Cameroon

Two games were played on Sunday as the FIFA Confederation Cup continued in Russia.

GROUP A:

At Kazan:

Goals from Javier Hernandez (42') and Hector Moreno (90'+2) lifted CONCACAF kingpins Mexico to a 2-2 draw with Portugal.  Ricardo Quaresma (34') and Cedric Soares (86') each scored once for last year's European champs.

GROUP B:

At Moscow:

Arturo Vidal (81') and Eduardo Vargas (90'+1) each scored once late in the second half as South American champs Chile blanked their African counterparts Cameroon 2-0.
