FIFA World Cup Qualifying (CONCACAF): Ticos Hold Off Soca Warriors; Panama And Honduras Battle To Contentious 2-2 Draw

Two games were contested as the final round of CONCACAF-regional qualifying for next year's FIFA World Cup continued.

At Panama City:

Goals from Blas Perez (41') and Roman Torres (90') enabled Panama to salvage a 2-2 home draw with Honduras.  Romell Quioto (6') and Alberth Elis (66') delivered the goals from the visitors.

At San Jose, Costa Rica:

Bryan Ruiz scored the winning goal in the 44th minute as Costa Rica defeated visiting Trinidad and Tobago 2-1.
