EURO 2012: Germany To Get Shot At Greece; Portugal To Take On Czech Republic; Netherlands and Denmark Eliminated

Group B action in the European Championship concluded on Sunday with two games played in Ukraine.


At Kharkiv:


Ronaldo


Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice (28' [shown here], 74') as Portugal defeated the Netherlands 2-1 to clinch second place in Group B and a berth in the quarterfinal round.  The Portuguese will take on the Czech Republic this coming Thursday at Warsaw.


At Lviv:


Michael Krohn-Dehli


Lukas Podolski (19') and Lars Bender (80') provided the scoring as Germany won Group B with their 2-1 win over Denmark.  Michael Krohn-Dehli scored the only goal of the match for the now-eliminated Danes in the 24th minute, as seen here. Next up for the Germans, a quarterfinal-round encounter with Greece this coming Friday at Gdansk, Poland.
