MLS: Union Stun SKC; Impact, Fire, Quakes, Galaxy Pick Up Wins; Reds Blow Two-Goal Lead And Drop Two Points At Home; Goose Eggs For Hoops And Goats

Seven games were played in Major League Soccer on Saturday.


At Toronto:


Blake Brettschneider (71') and Chris Tierney (90'+4) each scored a second-half goal as the New England Revolution came back from two goals down to gain a 2-2 road draw with Toronto FC.  Danny Koevermans (4') and Ryan Johnson (41') provided the scoring for the Reds.


At Chester, Pennsylvania:


Jack McInerney scored twice (0' 41') as the Philadelphia Union demolished visiting Sporting Kansas City 4-0.


At Montreal:


Sanna Nyassi (4'), Davy Arnaud (20'), Hassoun Camara (60'), and Patrice Bernier (PK-67') each scored a goal as the Montreal Impact doubled up the visiting Houston Dynamo 4-2.


At Bridgeview, Illinois:


Marco Pappa (1') and Dominic Oduro (26') provided the scoring as the Chicago Fire, who, despite playing the last 62 minutes with only ten men, knocked off the visiting Columbus Crew 2-1.


At Frisco, Texas:


The contest between FC Dallas and visiting Chivas USA ended in a 0-0 stalemate.


At Sandy, Utah:


Alan Gordon (75') and Chris Wondolowski (84') each scored a goal as the San Jose Earthquakes took over first place in the Western Conference following their 2-1 road win over Real Salt Lake.


At Carson, California:


Mike Magee (15'), Robbie Keane (29'), and Landon Donovan (PK-41') each scored a goal in the Los Angeles Galaxy's 3-0 home domination of the Vancouver Whitecaps.
