EURO 2012: Spain And Italy Win; Both Advance To Quarterfinals

Action in Group C of the European Championship concluded with two games played in Poland on Monday.


At Gdansk:





Jesus Navas scored the only goal of the match in the 88th minute (as shown here) as Spain won Group C with a 1-0 win over Croatia.


At Poznan:





Antonio Cassano (35') and Mario Balotelli (90', that's him celebrating) each scored once as Italy secured a berth in the quarterfinal round with a 2-0 blanking of the Republic of Ireland.
