Ryan Thomas (8', 12') and Gyon Fernandez (22', 34') each scored twice in the first half on Sunday as PEC Zwolle shocked and demolished Eredivisie-leading Ajax Amsterdam 5-1 in the final of the Dutch Cup for the first major piece of silverware in the club's 104-year history. PEC Zwolle will enter the playoff round for a group stage berth in next season's Europa League.
