Copa Libertadores: Group-Stage Play Begins

Group-stage play in the Copa Libertadores commenced on Tuesday with five games.

GROUP ONE:

At Guadalajara, Mexico:

Luis Arias scored the only goal of the match in the 78th minute as Independiente Santa Fe knocked off Atlas 1-0 on the road.



GROUP FOUR:

At Santiago, Chile:

Miler Bolanos scored the only goal of Club Sport Emelec's 1-0 road win over Universidad de Chile.

At La Paz, Bolivia:

Alejandro Chumacero scored twice (10', 85') as The Strongest got the measure of visiting Internacional 3-1.

At San Cristobal, Venezuela:

Gustavo Bou delivered a hat trick (39', 52', 68') as Racing Club annihilated Deportivo Tachira 5-0 on the road.
