Copa Libertadores: Huracan, The Strongest Advance To Group Stage

The second and final week of the preliminary round for Copa Libertadores group-stage berths commenced with two games contested on Tuesday.

At Buenos Aires:

A 0-0 game-two home draw with Alianza Lima was more than good enough for Club Atletico Huracan as the Argentinian club completed their two-match beat-down of the Peruvian club 4-0 on aggregate.  CA Huracan will play in Group Three alongside Cruzeiro (Brazil), Mineros de Guayana (Venezuela), and Club Univeritario (Bolivia).

At La Paz, Bolivia:

Pablo Escobar scored twice late in the second half (85', 88') as The Strongest defeated visiting Morelia 2-0 in game two and took out the Mexican club 3-1 on aggregate.  With the series victory, the Bolivian club will join Ecuador's Club Sport Emelec, Brazil's Internacional, and University of Chile in Group Four.
