Copa America: Samba Boys Annihilate (and Eliminate) Haiti; Ecuador Overcomes Two-Goal Deficit To Gain Draw With Peru

Group-stage play in the Copa America continued on Wednesday with two Group B contests.

At Orlando, Florida:

Philippe Coutinho delivered a hat trick (14', 29', 90'+2) while Renato Augusto added a double (35', 86') as Brazil destroyed Haiti 7-1, eliminating the Caribbean nation from the tournament.

At Glendale, Arizona:

Enner Valencia (39') and Miller Bolanos (48') each scored once as Ecuador came back from a two-goal deficit to gain a 2-2 draw with Peru, whose goals came courtesy of Christian Cueva (5') and Edison Flores (13')

Group B Standings:

1.    Brazil (GP: 2; GD: +6; PTS: 4)
2.    Peru (GP: 2; GD: +1; PTS: 4)
3.    Ecuador (GP: 2; GD: 0; PTS: 2)
