UEFA Champions League: Series-Opening Shutout Wins For Qarabag, RB Salzburg, Partizan, Rijeka

The second round of UEFA Champions League  
qualifying commenced on Tuesday with four games.

At Baku, Azerbaijan:

Dino Ndlovu scored twice (37', 45'+1) as Qarabag destroyed visiting Samtredia 5-0 in the opening match of their two-game series.

At Belgrade, Serbia:

Uros Durdevic (PK-53') and Leonardo da Silva Souza (63') each scored once as Partizan Belgrade blanked visiting Buducnost Podgorica 2-0 in the opening game of their two-match series.

At Paola, Malta:

Valon Berisha (PK-32'), Hwang Hee-chan (35'), and Takumi Ninamino (54') each scored once as FC Red Bull Salzburg all but punched their tickets for the third qualifying round after their series-opening 3-0 road domination of Hibernians.

At Rijeka, Croatia:

Josip Misic (4') and Florentin Matei (69') produced the goals as HNK Rijeka blanked The New Saints 2-0 at home in their home opener.
