The final two-match series of the CAF Champions League's first proper round concluded on Monday.
Mbaye Thiam scored at 39 minutes in game two as ASC Linguere took the home leg 1-0 over Djoliba Athletic Club, deadlocking the two-match set at 1-1 on aggregate. But, after 30 scoreless overtime minutes, the visiting club from Mali won the penalty-kick shootout 4-3 to advance to the Champions League's second round.
