In a battle of the only two teams yet to win a Major League Soccer regular season contest, DC United, with Adam Cristman scoring twice (4', 59'), defeated visiting FC Dallas 4-2 in qualification play in the US Open Cup. Next up for United in Cup play is a contest at home with Real Salt Lake on a date yet to be determined.
