Despite dropping a 2-0 road decision on Friday in game two of their two-match series, Cotonsport still advanced to the group stage of the CAF Champions League by winning the series against ES Setif 4-3 on aggregate. This game marked the conclusion of Round of 16 play.
The drawing for the group stage will take place on Sunday in Cairo, Egypt.
