The quarterfinal round of Mexico's top flight Clausura Playoffs concluded with two games on Sunday.
At Mexico City:
With goals from Efrain Velarde (5') and Luis Fuentes (74'), UNAM Pumas topped visiting Monterrey 2-0 in game two of their two-match series, and with the score at 3-3 on aggregate, advanced to the semifinal round because they were the higher-seeded club, second-seeded as opposed to the seventh-seeded Striped Gang.
At Morelia, Mexico:
Joao Rojas scored twice (31', 60') as Morelia defeated visiting Club America 3-2 in game two of their two-game series and won the series 5-3 on aggregate.
