MLS: Hoops Stretch Shutout Streak To 489 Minutes In Road Win Over Sounders; Galaxy Blank Visiting Dynamo; Rapids and Red Bulls Draw

Three games were on the Major League Soccer docket for Wednesday.

At Harrison, New Jersey:

The Colorado Rapids battled the New York Red Bulls to a 2-2 road deadlock.  Jeff Larentowicz scored both Colorado goals (27', 31') while Thierry Henry (28') and Luke Rodgers (33') each tallied once for the Red Bulls.

At Seattle:

Brek Shea scored the only goal of the match in the 18th minute as FC Dallas defeated the Seattle Sounders 1-0 on the road. With another shutout from goalkeeper (and birthday boy) Kevin Hartman, the Hoops, who have racked up five wins and two draws in their last seven contests,  have not surrendered a goal in their last 489 minutes of MLS action.

At Carson, California:

Landon Donovan's successful 46th-minute penalty kick provided all the scoring as the Los Angeles Galaxy downed the visiting Houston Dynamo 1-0.
