Europa League Qualifying

The first round of qualifying for the Europa League continued with 35 games on Thursday.


At Lankaran, Azerbaijan:


Goals from Hidetoshi Wakui (5') and Eino Puri (70') enabled Nomme Kalju from Estonia to gain a 2-2 road draw in the opening game of their two-match series with Khazar Lankaran.  Barnimir Subasic (7') and Adrian Scarlatache (30') provided the hosts' goals.


At Narva, Estonia:


Bachana Tskhadadze scored twice in the first half (12', 36') as Inter Baku all but locked up a berth in the second qualifying round following their game-one 5-0 road demolition of Narva Trans.


At Kumanovo, Macedonia:


Muharem Bajrami scored a hat trick (PK-10', PK-14', 83') as Renova belted visiting Libertas from San Marino 4-0 in game one.


At Jagodina, Serbia:


Gueye Mansour scored the only goal of the match in the 85th minute as visiting Ordabasy from Kazakhstan took game one 1-0 against FK Jagodina.


At Kuopio, Finland:


Markus Joenmaki (PK-5') and Ats Purje (19') each scored a goal in the first twenty minutes as KuPS held off visiting Llanelli 2-1 in game one.  Jason Bowen's goal (45'+1) kept the Welsh club alive in the series.


At Tallinn, Estonia:


Juvenal Gomes da Silva's own goal in the 63rd minute handed Levadia Tallinn a 1-0 home win over FK Siauliai of Lithuania in their series opener.


At Baku, Azerbaijan:


Slovenia's ND Mura 05 held home-standing FC Baku to a game-one 0-0 stalemate.


At Boras, Sweden:


Niklas Hult delivered a hat trick in the first half (5', 24', PK-26') as Elfsborg destroyed visiting Floriana from Malta 8-0 in match one of their two-game series.


At Niksic, Montenegro:


Yoro Lamine Li scored the only goal of the match in the 71st minute as Shirak FC from Armenia defeated Rudar Pljevlja 1-0 in their series opener.


At Yerevan, Armenia:


Igor Vujacic (62'), Zarija Pelicic (81'), and Petar Orlandic (90'+2) each scored a goal in the final half-hour as FK Zeta broke open a scoreless stalemate and ended up dominating Pyunik 3-0 the game one.


At Jyvaskyla, Finland:


Tamas Gruborovics (16') and Babutunde Wasu (66') each tallied once as JJK blanked visiting Stabaek 2-0 in the opening contest of their two-match series.


At Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg:


Michel Kittenmeyer (30'), Gilles Bettmer (41'), and Omar Er Rafik (47') delivered the goals as Differdange 03 dominated NSI Runavik 3-0 in match one.


At Chisinau, Moldova:


Osman Sow scored the only goal of the match in the 42nd minute as Dacia Chisinau blanked visiting NK Celje from Slovenia 1-0 in game one.


At Marijampole, Lithuania:


FC Daugava from Latvia, thanks to Andrejs Kovalovs' tally in the 87th minute, took game one on the road against Suduva Marijampole 1-0.


At Tirane, Albania:


Elton Mucollari (40') and Nertil Ferraj (45'+2) each tallied once in the waning minutes of the first half as KF Tirana blanked Luxembourg's CS Grevenmacher 2-0 in match one of their two-game set.


At Kutaisi, Georgia:


Marat Bikmaev delivered the equalizer in the 82nd minute as FC Aktobe from Kazakhstan gained a 1-1 game-one home stalemate with Torpedo Kutaisi.  Nika Sabanadze scored for the hosts in the 62nd minute.


At Paola, Malta:


Jorge Santos (53') and Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza (87') each delivered a goal as Birkirkara salvage a game-one 2-2 home draw with FK Metalurg Skopje.  The Macedonian club got their tallies through the courtesy of Ilija Nestorovski (2') and Cvetan Curlinov (55').


At Andorra la Vella, Andorra:


Ivan Milicevic scored the only goal of game one in the 77th minute as NK Osijek from Croatia blanked FC Santa Coloma 1-0.


At Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina:


Asmir Suljic (2'), Sedin Torlak (45'+1), Zarko Karamatic (PK-54'), Damir Hadzic (79'), and Ivan Tatomirovic (90') each scored a goal as FK Sarajevo dominated visiting Hibernians (Malta) 5-2 in the opening match of their two-game series.


At Enschede, Netherlands:


Robbert Schilder (28', 29') and Glynor Plet (77', 79') each scored twice as FC Twente annihilated visiting UE Santa Coloma of Andorra 6-0 in their series opener.


At Poznan, Poland:


Rafal Murawski (61') and Gergo Lovrencsics (65') each scored once as Lech Poznan blanked visiting Zhetysu from Kazakhstan 2-0 in the opening game of their two-contest series.


At Ljubljana, Slovenia:


Franklin Vicente scored twice (76', 90'+3) as Olimpija Ljubljana dominated Luxembourg's Jeunesse Esch 3-0 at home in game one.


At Torshvan, Faroe Islands:


Levi Hanssenbirk converted two first-half penalty kicks (10', 33') as EB/Streymur defeated visiting Gandzasar from Armenia 3-1 in match one.


At Budapest, Hungary:


Rolando Blackburn's equalizer in the 58th minute enabled Slovakia's FK Senica to gain a 1-1 game-one road draw with MTK Budapest, whose score came in the 30th minute from Janos Lazok.


At Wrexham, Wales:


The opening game of the two-match series between Cefn Druids and visiting MYPA from Finland ended in a 0-0 deadlock.


At Flore, Albania:


Richard Vernes scored the only goal of the match in the 46th minute as Honved defeated Flamurtari Vlore 1-0 on the road in game one.


At Durres, Albania:


Dimitri Tananashvilli (77'), Revaz Getsadze (84'), and Givi Kvaratskhelia (PK-90'+2) each delivered a goal in the final quarter-hour as Metalurgi Rustavi ran away from home-standing Teuta Durres 3-0 in the opening match of their two-game affair.


At Serravalle, San Marino:


Ytis Leliuga (40') and Genadijs Solonicins (90') each delivered a goal as FK Liepajas Metalurgs blanked La Fiorita 2-0 on the road in their series opener.


At Dublin, Ireland:


The opening match of the two-game series between Bohemians and visiting Thor AK from Iceland ended in a 0-0 stalemate.


At Belfast, Northern Ireland:


Liam Boyce scored the only goal of the match in the 71st minute as Cliftonville blanked visiting Kalmar FF 1-0 in game one.


At Dublin, Ireland:


Chris Fagan scored the lone goal of the match in the 39th minute as St. Patrick's Athletic defeated visiting IBV from Iceland 1-0 in their series opener.


At Bangor, Wales:


The opening contest between Bangor City and visiting Zimbru Chisinau from Moldova ended in a 0-0 draw.


At Belfast, Northern Ireland:


Mikael Dorsin scored twice (19', 76') as Rosenborg will be heading back to Norway after their 3-0 road domination of Crusaders in match one.


At Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina:


FK Celik Niksic, with goals from Veselin Bojic (PK-37') and Semir Agovic (82'), gained a 2-2 game-one road draw with Borac Banja Luka.  Jovica Stokic (39') and Slavisa Dugic (42') each scored once for the Bosnian club.


At Hafnarfjordur, Iceland:


Albert Brynjar Ingason (44') and Atli Bjornsson (81') each tallied once as FH Hafnarjordur held off visiting  USV Eschen/Mauren 2-1 in the opening contest of their two match series.  Marco Fassler scored in the 48th minute to keep the club from Liechtenstein alive.
