In the lone Wednesday Major League Soccer contest, Terry Dunfield scored the winning goal deep into second-half stoppage time (90'+5) as Toronto FC defeated the visiting Vancouver Whitecaps 3-2. Darren Mattocks had scored his second goal of the game for the Whitecaps in the opening moment of stoppage time. All five goals were scored in the second half.
