At Montreal:


Successful penalty kicks from Kei Kamara (57') and Graham Zusi (75'), along with Jacob Peterson's insurance tally in the 82nd minute carried Sporting Kansas City to a 3-1 road win over the Montreal Impact.


At Frisco, Texas:


Danny Koevermans' equalizer in the 31st minute lifted Toronto FC to a 1-1 road draw with FC Dallas.  Zach Loyd scored in the fifth minute for the Western Conference's basement occupiers.


At Commerce City, Colorado:


Darren Mattocks scored the only goal of the match in the 43rd minute as the Vancouver Whitecaps knocked off the home-standing Colorado Rapids 1-0.


At Sandy, Utah:


The contest between Real Salt Lake and the visiting Seattle Sounders concluded in a 0-0 stalemate.


At Carson, California:


Michael Farfan scored the winning goal five minutes into second-half stoppage time as the Philadelphia Union knocked off the Los Angeles Galaxy 2-1 on the road.
