Group-stage play in the Copa Libertadores reached its' midway point on Thursday with three games.

GROUP C:

At Lima, Peru:

Roque Santa Cruz (52'), William Mendieta (54'), and Juan Rojas (79') each scored once as Club Olimpia broke open what had been a scoreless deadlock at halftime and won going away on the road, 3-0 at Sporting Cristal's expense.

Jorge Saez scored the only goal of the match in the 16th minute as Universidad Catolica defeated visiting Gremio 1-0.

At Asuncion:

Matias Espinoza (46') and Jorge Recalde (68') provided the goals as Club Libertad blanked visiting Rosario Central 2-0.
